millcity,ma.
well i want to start another new project and i cant decide what but i want something that not many people are doing around where i am so what i have to choose from

1.) Yucatan banded gecko (Stripe phase) Coleonyx Elegans

2.) Red ackies

3.) Rankin dragons

4.) add your own idea

I think you should do some type of australian gecko such as velvets, beadeds, stone or knob tails

If you got ca$$ try a beaded lizard or gila moster. I worked at a zoo for a little while and the gila monster had the coolest attitude.

Rankins are a good choice... not many people are working with them. You could easily sell babies for $85-$150ea. x 15 eggs= $1275-$2250 and I gurantee you'd sell out.

Ackies are a good choice, but the only two drawback i see with them is:
The eggs take up to 5months to hatch
They need to eat every day

But again... thats another $150-$200ea for babies.

What i would be interested in working with is Knobtailed geckos, Aboreal Alligator Lizards (big market for them),

90 -120 days for ackies, not very long very similar to BD's

Reptech depends on space and $$$ issues, but if neither are an issue then id go with ackies.
