help me please guy my new ball python not eating

i got an nice ball phython 2 day ago but he didn't eat anything: mouse.baby chicken. and just drink water only .can someone help me pls.tell me why my new pet haven't eat anything

well first off you should give it some time to get use to its new home and if you just keep throwin food in its face it will get stressed so give it a week and where did you get it ?? and what where they feeding ? where they feeding live or pk also what is the temp in your tank ??

I agree. The snake is in a new place and is a bit stressed. Just leave it alone for a week or so and then try. Did you ask the people you bought it from when the last time the snake ate?

How big is it and is it WC or CB? Most WC ball pythons will not eat in captivity and will slowly waste away and die.

One of my coworkers also works @ a zoo and she said they had a python (i think) that fasted for 2 yrs before it ate...

Give it one week, at least, before trying to force it to do anything.

Adult males can go for months, when not one year, without eating....
