hello my friends, I need some advice urgently. I have a friend who has an oscar which has tried to eat a cory. The cory has thus stuck it's spines in the oscar's mouth and has managed to get out, and there are no marks and no infection only the fish is doing very badly. It is 30 cm long, do you know if the cory has any poison or have you seen any similar cases? Please reply ASAP

Yeah, we need a little more info. Could you describe the oscar's behavior?

I was just reading in a fish magazine at petsmart that some corydoras are poisonous. regardless I'd raise the temp a couple degrees and add some salt to be on the safe side.

I agree bump up the temp add some salt and kkep an eye out for infections . Mine tried to eat a pleco once and got stuck in its mouth , had to pull it out poor guy had lock jaw for two days

excuse me for not having answered has all your messages baby worries of connection, thank you for your help, unfortunately the Oscar and death I think that my friend would not have of the take it out from some water to take from him away the corydoras, too much stresses and the fish has already found it difficult to breathe, I saw that in the Brazil it puts it in a big brood hen and he takes it out only tres some water fast.
still veils thank you has your help very ;)
