I need to calculate the volume of a pond in a hurry to treat with meds but i can't work it out :(:(:nilly:

I know theres converters online for sizes where you can enter 3 measurements..

But the pond is a circle (9ft diameter) and 4ft deep. Can anyone work out the volume for me?

I'm crap with maths and I need to do a treatment. I used an online converter but it said it was 180 gallons whic can't be right?

Thanks in advance

is the answer going to be in gallons?

No, that answer will be in cubic feet(or whatever measurement you multiplied). You will then need to convert that to gallons in an online calculator.

i need to read better

pi x r^2 x h

except you need to convert to cubic inches

so 3.14 x 54^2 x 48= 439,500 cubic inches

approximately 241 cubic inches per gallon

so 439,500/241= about 1,820 gallons

It's roughly 605 gallons.

i think bigger more like at least 1600g upto 1900 depends on if the sides slope
