So, in browsing for a 180 gallon locally on craigslist I came across a very, very good deal on this aquarium:

Here's the crutch. I have NO idea how to setup a sump. I get the principle. Water into overflow, gravity into sump, pump into tank. I just don't know how to execute it. Nor do I know the difference with the two "corner overflows" as opposed to other setups or designs. If someone can school me that would be excellent. I'd like to use the 75 gallon it would be replacing as a huge sump underneath.
This would be going in a bedroom; is it possible to make it as silent as a traditional canister filter setup?
