I leveled my tank and stand today and fill it up with partial water.
but my water isn't completely leveled
i shimmy the stand to make the it all leveled

one side is 6.5'' and the right side is 6.75-7'' high.

what is the deal?
This the level from the length of the tank

After having two large tanks bust on me this year (220 and 300). Im setting up this tank slowly and cautiously.
Any help will be greatly appreciated

Bump, it might be useless information
but I do hAve StYrocoAm under it

Is it an acrylic tank? Has it been filled for a while? From what I understand, acrylic tanks can warp a little bit if they were filled and drained. Most people say it will even out over time.

If its a glass tank you don't need the styrofoam under it.

1/4" over the length of the whole tank is really no big deal. I wouldn't worry about it!

I agree... 1/4 is minimal.

Simple solution would be to shim the sand a bit more.

It's a glAss tNk
never been filled

one corner is close 7" and the oppiste corner left side is 6.5"
so the diffrence is more then 1/4"
would that still be safe to have a .5" diffrence

Is it possible that the top trim is not seated completely? I have bought used tanks where the glass is all square, but the molded plastic support was not parallel to the bottom pane of glass.

Okay Everyone I talk to in person said I should Use styrofoam
but every one on mfk say it's not needed.

Anyone want to shed some light on this
