First pic looks male I'm guessing male because of the Spangling in the tail
Males usually have a lot of spots on tail and fins
Bottom one I'm not too sure
Top picture with horizontal stripe from head to tail 100% positive female. The smaller fish looks male because stripe is fading. Good nics can both have outstanding color so can't go by color alone. Females retain stripe and male keeps one solo dot with stripe fading in and out. See attached picture and even this dominant breeding male has occasional stripe but not near as dark as female and notice even male has blue head which many ascribe to the female
