I am wanting to place an order for some new fish in the next couple of days so that I can receive them on Friday. I have about $200 to spend (including shipping) so it won't be a huge order but it won't be too shabby either.

I want to get a couple of female dovii for my 210 to go along with my two males so I can hopefully get a pair.

The rest of the money will be going towards fish for my 300. Here is the current stock list.

Amphilophus labiatus (F0) - 6"
Black Belt (F1) - 11"
Cryptoheros Cutteri (F0) - 4" female
Cryptoheros Cutteri (F1) - (4) juvenile, 2 male, 2 female
Silver Dollars (5 so far) - pretty good size
Vieja bifasciatus (F1) - 8"
Archocentrus Centrachus (wild) - 5"
Hypsophrys nicaraguensis - 5" demon

I plan to order from either Rapps, Wetspotcx, or Ken Davis. I have purchased from both Rapps and Ken Davis before and I have never been dissapointed with them. I am not trying to start any debate about which vendor is better, I believe they are all excellent. It's just that they all have different stock lists, not better or worse, just different.

So, how should I spend my money?

What exactly are you looking for CA/SA style-wise? Aggressive? Attractive? Territorial?

I would think a RTM pair might work in your 300g and would add more color. Maybe also an Escondido texas if they have them. One of the barred Amphilophus might also be a nice change up to add something a little unique looking to the tank.

My choices for larger fish are:

Red tiger Mota
Escondido texas
Amphilophus sp. ‘red Isletas’
Amphilophus barred midas

Smaller fish you can't go wrong with

Neetroplus nematopus
Calico Cons

Yes! ;)

I need them to be able to hold their own with the other fish and I definitely would like them to be attractive. I'm not so concerned with territorial. If they are it will be fine, I will have some rockwork and driftwood to provide hiding places and to help block the line of sight a bit.

Rapps all the way! Just got some fish Saturday from him-Awesome!
I got a Amp. Amarillo, Amp. Xal., Dovii, Umbee, and a Trimac.

275.00 giant rare wild adult Zaire blue Moba frontosa (2 pcs 12"+

may not be Ca/Sa, but i'm tempted.

Large Pike, maybe you'll get one that may get along/hates about everyone heh

Crenicichla celidochilus
Crenicichla Cincta
Larger Crenicichla for that size tank , are all that you want heh
