Help me split up my CAs!

OK, I need to split my Central Americans into two tanks, a 75 and a 55 gallon. The reason I have to split everyone up is because the Uro is a jerk. He tore up everyone but the JD.

My stock:
Salvini 6"
Jack Dempsy 3"
Fire Mouth 4"
Nic 6"
Uro (big mean bully)8"
Royal Pleco 6"

What I was thinking:

The 55:
Salvini, Fire Mouth, and Nic

The 75:
Jack Dempsy, Uro, Royal Pleco

Sound OK?

I also have three cons in a 20L right now. Could they go in the 75 too or would it be too much?
 
yah the cons will hold there won agust the mayan... but switch the stock around put the JD in the 55 and the salvini in the 75 cause salvinis can be a mean arce..
 
yeah stocks ok except the fm will be killed... lol
 
Looks good to me. I've found the only rule is go with what works for you. If the Uro and JD get along then... keep them together. I think the FM will be fine with the sal, they never stay around to fight. I have one in with a breeding pair and he's not silly enough to get in their way.
 
stock sounds good, the Fm will prolly end up dead but otherwise sounds pretty good
i would keep it as is as the JD would much approve of the extra 6" of depth, salvini's dont get as big so they shouldnt be a problem in a 55

Dang, I misread it and was wondering how a Uaru managed to beat up all your aggressive cichlids...Your idea sounds good, although the salvini might terrorize the less aggressive firemouth and nic. You may have to move things around a few times before it works though.
 
The Fire Mouth is pretty tough, it grew up with the Salvini. Actually the big wimp is the Nic. Everyone seems to pick on him.
