My buddy has been looking at my tanks with cichla and rays. And he wants to set up his tank. Only problem is all he can fit is a 30 gallon cube. What kind of cool fish could he but in there? He wants a piranha but i said no way in that tank. So i told him i would look for something for him that could live in that tank. Any suggestions??

If he wants something kind of aggressive (I'm only assuming because you said he mentioned piranha,) you could stock it with some exodons. The cube is probably big enough for a few of them, I don't think they get over 5" really. In a little group, they can be pretty feisty haha.
Exodons are kinda cool but not too cool. Theyre a lil boring i think. I'd get a bichir. I had a Senegal in my 29 gallon and He was awesome

Maybe some SA cichlids, exodons, large community of dwarf puffers

Bala sharks take years to grow to full size and bgks rarely grow fast. I had both in a 29 for like 2 years before they even got close to being too big for the tank
