Help me stock a cycled 55 gallon with cool cichlids!

I just finished my nitrogen cycle in my 55 gallon. It has a 300 GPH HOB filter (Top fin) An eheim 2215 canister and an undergravel with powerheads. I have a local regular PH of 8.3 And I want to have about 5 fish in there along with my senegal bichir who is going to live in there The Bichir is about 7 inches now and plenty fat and mean to hold his own. Any suggestions for aggresive colorful personable fish that live in the range of 8 PH ???

8.3ph is pretty high for SA/CAs. have you considered africans? add some driftwood to help lower the ph

Though not CA/SA I would recommend a paratilapia polleni. The polleni is an awesome fish for the double nickel.
