Currently I have a featherfin squeaker catfish thats about 6 or 7 inches in there. He loves hanging out in the wood.

I have 2 sets of juvi vieja fenestratus I can add and a blue gourami.

Would firemouths work with Viejas? I'm thinking they probably wouldn't. What suggestions do yall have? I may just put the best male of the 2 pairs in the 210 and sell the other 3

It depends on what you are looking for. I personally like a pair of viejas as the stars of the tank and build other fish around them. I will let someone else speak to the firemouths. My gut says it isn't a good idea. I had a friend with a huge breidhori female and I couldn't see her tolerating any other large cichlid she wasn't paired with. If you like the gourami you can do more of them big groups of gouramis are fun. I like the snakeskins in larger tanks. Large barbs like rohani or mascara would be nice in there. Red pandas are smaller, but they have great color I would put 40-50 in there. There are the obvious like red hooks or silver dollars. I always like a big pleco in a larger tank. Rhinos or orange cheek pinecones are unique and a good size for that tank.

I wouldn't be afraid to try out a group of Firemouths with you four Veija if you provide enough cover with rocks, driftwood, etc. They might end up helping break up the aggression amongst the Veija.
