well i have a 75 thats going to be setup soon. i cant deside what i wanna put in it. first i wanted natives, then i started leaning to p's but i could only keep 3 and i want more that 3 fish. so what do you guys think? what would you put in a 75 tank for life?

african cichlids...

a nice colorfull blend, plenty of hiding places & none that get over 5-6 inches...

Just a thought...

Africans would look great in a 75.

But anyway...

I have a JD that im going to put in a 75+ soon. Jd are awesome fish, maybe try that.

thanks for the input. i think im going to get an oscar for sure. but im going to go to the lfs and look around and write the fish names down. JD are cool, ill look into those. i kinda want a big fish (oscar) and then a bunch of smaller ones.

Big fish eat smaller fish FYI!!

I dont think youll be dissapointed going with Ps. You can easily grow 1" babies 7"+ in a year with proper care. They may be boring at first when they are small but you once they get big and with a nicely aquascaped tank it would look nice. 3 8" fish will seem like you have alot of fish.

You could even start with a dozen or more babies and sell them off as they get bigger and keep the nicest ones.
