help me stock my new 300g.

ok heres the deal. i just finished my 300g project. 96x30x26.

should be ready for my 15" silver in a week or 2.
right now the stock for this tank is going to be.
1- 15" silver arow.
3-5" scombs.

i have 4 4-5" assorted angels i may add. not sure yet. may keep in 125.

was possibly thinking 1 or 2 stingrays down the road.

but id like to find some colorful fish to please the wife.

throw my some ideas of some good fish to add.

id really like to try a few new world cichlids. but dont want anything that would bother my other fish.

Agreed! Peacock bass colour and patterns blend really well with the silver arowana's shine.

Parrot cichlids however, don't look so good with silver as they do with asians in my opinion as there is too much contrast from red to silver.

i have some clown loaches and flagtail with mine. they are a good clean up crew.

yes i do agree with you that the blood parrots would go as well with the silver as the peackock bass would.

Stick with fish from the amazon region and stay away from those awful looking hybrids.

Go for some geos, earth eaters always go good.

some pbass and florida gars. and get the rays after for sure.

how bout some severums. maybe a red-faced gold severum. They are preeswee. I heart mine.
