Cencal
So i have a pool conversion for my giant pacu, im in cen cal so i have a couple heaters in there and a cover, and it did fine when thetemp was high 40's at night a month or so ago, but everyday i worry like hell, im nervous about the longevity of my cheapy pool. So i want to build an above ground wood frame pond, im a renter, so i would like to drain and move it, im thinking rectangle shape, 2-3 feet high, but i was hopinh someone could send me to a tek online, or somewhere that tells me the science/engineery stuff so it doesnt cave in? Thanks guys

This is my above ground pond.

What I did was look at other above ground ponds on this site and on youtube to give me a feeling of how they made theirs. There are some pretty good above ground pond builds on this site, but you will just have to look around. Mine I incorporated it into my deck so i did not really have to worry about it caving in.

Wow, that's a pretty sweet pond you got there.

Really love the pond....need something for my 28" pacu...but with portals...he loves to watch people

cool pond!

Good stuff ill check out more builds, have you ever seen a movable one?

I'd go with a prefabbed Intex pool or something similar. The downside to plastic / lined pools is pacu like to chew on them and can tear big holes.
