Hi, lets start of like this i have a red devil from petsmart so most likely a "midevil" the one in my avatar, and recently it's fins started turning black and now mouth and head area is and it's happening quite rapidly (as you see in the pic you can't see black on his face and i just took that pic this past weekend). Now i read the sticky on faders and didn't answer my questions, i want to know the process of it. How long will this take, will he loose all his orange and turn black, is the black permanent if not what would be expected of the end result? Will he go through a whole color change or just stay black and orange? What happens throughout the process basically? I can't seem to find it out really and was wondering if anyone could help me out and maybe simplify it for me thanks!!

Yes it's cycled. The fish has been in the tank for about a month and a bit. The water parameters are fine 0 ammonia 0 nitrites and 20ppm nitrates and 7.0 ph. I'm pretty sure its normal for these fish to do this so how would parameters matter? (not being rude just curious)
I already read that iit didn't answer my questions was more of why it happens nnot what is the outcome
