Hey guys,
I'd like to set up a UGJ in my 125g tank. Right now its filtered by 2 C360's and is not plumbed for a sump, so I was going to see if I can use an internal pump to power the UGJ - I wonder if a few powerheads would be enough flow?
I am using silica sand as substrate and I get a lot of debris that sits in pockets where there isn't a lot of flow and I want to get rid of that. Will the UGJ push the sand around enough to keep debris from settling?
So my questions are:
Can I use a powerhead or powerheads to push the UGJ?
What size PVC should I use for the Jets?
What size holes should I drill?
What kind of spacing between holes would work for what I want?
What kind of layout should I use for the PVC?
