I got 2 2inch Jds that ive had for like 1 week, and they wont eat! ive tried hikari gold mini pellet, should i try ghost shrimp or something?

Make sure that your water parameters are all where they should be too. Check the temp, nitrites, nitrates, & ammonia. I could just be a matter of the fish adjusting to their new home, but after a week they should have started eating.

Oh, and no, FROZEN bloodworms, not freeze-dried.

Frozen BW or Frozen brine to get them to eat. Just like Hawk said check your parms. I have never had a JD not eat.

It takes a little while for fish to adjust to new tank and so their appetite migght be down for a week or so.

Having said that my Jack Dempsey has decided to be ver picky (and thieving) and will only eat non pellet stuff like brine shrimp cubes and other seafood stuffs. He will attempt to steal this stuff from whomever he can and then hide so he can relish it all for himself. (Although I suspect he might be a 'herself').

:) Are those 2 the only fish in the tank? Anyway, could be just gettin used to new home. If you're goin w/ freeze died try soakin in garlic but if memory serves me, I believe frozen (thawed) BW were my JD's first meal. (2" was quite a while back)
