help me with my panaqeu l-330 urgent !!

my l-330 ist' eating after a week and is becoming very skinny now his tummy is falling in. iv have tried everything from kind's of food , to extra water changes etc...

the other fich are al ok . i have 3 other pleco's and they are doing good .
the temp is 28 degrees celcius
any help , i really like this fish ....
 
I take it that the L330 is new fish? How big is it?

It would be best if you could separate it into another tank where you can keep an eye on it. I have always found that soft veg like cucumber or courgette/zucchini gets them eating. Make sure the water is good with water changes and raising the temp could help, make sure you up the aeration as much as possible.

If he is just getting skinny you should have time to act, but if it has sunken eyes then something is definitely wrong. Usually with most new imports its down to a bacterial infection, so treat accordingly. Apparently garlic stimulates appetite, so trying to infuse the food with that may help.
 
If L330 is not eating.. probably it was unhealthy when it was first acquired..

I would do as suggested from above.. and feed Algae wafers/cucumber and potato.

U might have to leave in it the tank for a few days before the Pleco will start eating.. I've seen this before with any new pleco.. they dont like to eat until they are accustom to the environment.. if other pleco exist. it will help stimulate eating..

its new and 20cm long and it's starting tho have the eyes fal in . the prob is that i do not have a spare tanks as my parent's ( i stil live at home ) woud't let me another tank .

i'm doing an extra 50% waterchange . and hope for the best .
 
As was said rub some garlic on the zuccinni and take it out every day so it does not foul the water. Also get some driftwood in there. They actually eat driftwood it helps with their digestion. Good Luck and don't hesitate to ask questions a lot of experienced pleco people here.
 
suddenly his eyes have come out again and bit more active and i think he was on the wood , let's hope for the best
