Help me with my setup please

Hi I have a 55 gallon tank with gravel but I want to switch with sand. Which sand would you recommend to be the best and what should my filtration setup be like. Thanks

Pool Filter Sand. A lot of people use that but I use play sand.

Pfs is generally a larger grain sand, sinks better and wont cloud water or clog your filters. Go to your local pool store like Leslie's and they will have bags of it. Cheap and easy to rinse.

Any pool supply store should have pool filter sand, much easier to rinse than is play sand ... generally they come in a 50 lb bag for under 10 bucks, and will not change your water chemistry

I put all mine in a rubbermaid container, and rinse it. I highly recomend rinsin it. Make sure uou stir it all around the container too
