Help me with sump

Hi I'm gonna be making a sump for my 75g all male cichlid tank
My rio plus 2500 came in today pump 780 gph.
I'm gonna be putting a 3 shelf plastic tote shelf into a tote and make a wet/set system
Thing is making the overflow and finding out if I need two hoses sucking water in my overflow
