About a week ago I discovered ich on 2 of my clown loaches (12 total). I went to my LFS and told them the story and they gave me medicine call nox ich. It told me to do a half dose on the loaches cause of their scaleless body and to do it for 3 days and on the 4th do a 25% water change and wait a full day to do another treatment if needed. So after the water change and waiting a full day I still saw alittle white dots here on them and started to do another treatment. Well now im on the 2nd day and woke up to 4 dead clown loaches...... I took 2 water samples 1st down to Petco and they said my water were perfect beside the water hardness which is due to Colorado water. The 2nd I went to another closer LFS and had my water tested. Everything came perfect beside my ph level was at 7.6. They told me which isn't bad and fish shouldn't be dying from your ph level. They said it might be a internal disease. I'm lost and have no idea what to do next. I need any help! Oh and I forgot I did raise my temp to 82 from 78. And my tank stock includes 2 sliver arowana and a jardini arowana.

What is in Nox ich? Does it contain Malachite Green?

OK I just checked Nox Ich is Sodium Chloride .50%, Malachite Green .50%. MG is safe in higher Ph and hardness and is toxic in low Ph. Loaches are very sensative to salt and that's where ther trouble came from. This was not the right med to recomend for loaches. Next time come here first. Do a 50% water change and raise the temperature in the tank to 87. Do a 50% water change every day for the next 7 days with the temp at 87. Try to match the temp of the replacement as close as possibile and vacume the substrate with each water change (important). This will clear the problem.

Will come here 1st for my troubles and I have sand for a substrate will that change anything? And will this clear my ich as well?

Do the best you can if you're using PFS (Pool Filter Sand) it's easy to vacume as it's heavy enought not to get sucked by a python.
