HELP ME!!!!

My fish have Ich. I moved my four parrot fish to a quarantine tank for treatment. I have a LARGE apple snail. I cannot treat the tank with him in it. If i move him to his own tank can I empty original tank, clean everything, and start all over, will the ich survive the cleaning and re-infect my fish? Any suggestions? PLEASE HELP

Yeah not sure how he would take a dose of salt?

i asked the people at the local pet store, and they said a small amount wouldn't bother him, though they were unsure about a large dosage.
