I'm not sure what happened to my motoro ray I turned on my lights a couple days ago and he has this huge open wound thought that maybe its from the heater I've already been trying to heal it but it looks like its really bad

2 questions for you. Do you still have an uncovered heater in the tank? What are you feeding that ray? Looks like he is skin and bones.

Looks like a bad heater burn and yeah is it eating anything? Looks like it won't last much longer

Blood worms .... I have two heaters one is a fluval heater which I believe they are covered and the other one I have is not covered but I've had it unplugged just took it out now

Next time you put a heater in the tank make sure you either buy a cover for it or make one. Pellets should be the last thing on your mind. Make sure the water stays clean and start feeding the ray more. Try getting it on some cut up red wrigglers or night crawlers. Blood worms are only going to get you so far.

agreed try night crawlers and feed until it cat eat no more, clean water is a big step in healing but if the ray dosent have the muscle mass fat it wont survive much longer

I agree with what they said.

From the pic you posted the ray is not eating fine. It needs a lot more food and a lot higher quality of food.
