hi everyone,
my baby aro started acting weird recently. When i went to the tank this morning she was sitting on the bottom and she swims weird now in sort of an / shape. shes been eating fine, i ran out of freeze dried krill this week and havent been able to get to my LFS to get more but shes been eating flakes fine i really dont understand. shes a 7in silver if it helps
 
I cannot understand your description about how it is swmming....
 
Let's start with your ammonia and nitrites levels?
 
well sometimes he swims fine and sometimes he swimms with his head straight and his tail diagonal ( aka: / ) so its weird. i put him in a diff tank and he seems to be doing better already. i'm outta test strips so ill go 2 my lfs and get some later, i'll keep you posted
 
got any pictures it could be swim bladder

i got my water checked at my lfs and its fine. i thought it might be because he hasnt eaten any real solid food in a while and i was right. hes now eating freeze dried krill and crickets like a cow and is back to normal
 
oh its kind of like there hyper my arows only do that when i put in blood worms and earth worms, they go crazy!
