Ok. So I moved yesterday. First I take out 3/4 of the water in my fish tank and I tried to catch my 12 in arowana and he was jumping and at last i cought him and put him in a 5 gallon bucket. After the water was the right temperature I put him in. Today I checked on him and he's swimming fine. The only problem is that he's missing some scales, lost all his color and damaged his fins. What should I do?

Put some stress coat in the tank with him, read directions on how much per gallon to put in and add aquarium salt also so many teaspoons per gallon that should help him out.

Nothing more then keeping your water pristine is needed. Keep the nitrates under 10ppm and he will heal quite quickly.

pristine water and some time to rest and get used to his new environment. in my experience once they get eating again those scales will grow back fairly quickly.
