My aro used to be super active and normal. But a week or 2 ago he started sitting still at top with whitish stuff. That disappeared but he is still just sitting there. Water quality is not the best to be honest. He still eats fine. But when he sits/swims to get foot his head and body are leaning sideways. What could it be? He is 12 inches and his tank is only 12 inch width. I am worried about putting him in my 225 though...

Where are you at with getting a large tank? 8x2.5' minimum. Why don't you keep the water clean?

If you know the water sucks, do some water changes. Clean the filters. Why are you slacking when you clearly know the problem.

Not trying to nag you...but why isn't the water in good condition? You gotta change it man, like baby diapers or dog poop...clean that sht up, lol!
