Hey guys....due to pairing aggression one of our EBJDs has taken a beating. I quickly added him into a 37g hospital tank once i saw this, he's pretty torn up(fins/scales), is there any medication you'd recommend to help him get along or to protect from infection. Thanks in advance

Warm water, aquarium salt and lots of water changes and he'll vbe back to his old self in no time.

I had that happen to me, (multiple times) EBJD are really hardy so I would just use API stress coat and some aquarium salt. As long as it doesn't already have an infection. However sometimes after being battered I have had a few never be the same. (Always skittish hiding scared of all fish no matter how small or big) any way good luck with ur EBJD and again this is just my experience.

I agree with all this and it's nice to see there's some people who think ebjd's are hardier than most people think. I had a male that would pick a fight with fish much larger than himself, get beat up in the process and recover just fine. Yours should be fine. Good luck
