What all do I need to do to fully cure my ball python? I found a couple mites on him so I went to the store and got some reptile relief and completely washed out his cage and everything in it while he was in a warm bath and Replaced his substrate with paper towels and his hides with a cardboard box... I also sprayed everything down with RR, let it sit then washed it off, and wiped him down with some reptile relief on a wet rag...what else guys help me out. BTW if anyon eis looking for a ball python my mom is making me get rid of him  but I am going to wait until the mites are gone.

We used to just hang a flea collar in the tank for a month, but sounds like you're doing the right thing. Warm baths will dislodge the mites as well I believe?

Get some mite spray or powder, powder works better. Two things you need to do, first empty out the cage give everything a good rinse with hot water or with a chlorine water solution on the very lightest side, 1 part chlorine to about 5 parts water to rid of them all. Then youre gonna have to replace the substrate. Then put the snake in a pillow case and throw some powder in there and shake it around a bit so it gets in between its scales. Then empty some out on the new substrate to prevent them from coming back.

I also heard dipping the snake in 1 part vinegar to 3 parts water works too?

So I am doing good then? I mean I used a mite spray but that is the only thing that you can get locally... How long until they are gone? And how many times should I spray him down?

you still need to refurnish the cage in order to be good. Replace the substrate and wash any hides logs furnishings

I said that I refurnished the cage. Now has paper towel as the substrate and cardboard box hides.... I washed all his stuff and sprayed them down then washed again and I am leaving them out for a while to dry.
