Hi bros/sis, recently i transfered my dolloi to another tank cos it was being attached by my aro consistently. it was still feeding regularly even though it was being harrased by the aro. so i decided to groom this fella back to its original beauty & transfered it to another tank. since then it has stopped eating (at least for 1 week). i find that the water is a little cold compared to the aro's tank, but not so cold (~28'C). its main diet is cut prawns meat, now not eating ...

any advise??
should i put it back with the aro again..??

don't put it back with the aro...(give it some time to recover let it grow till 3 ft and then put it back..so it can get even)...joke..

It's best to keep it by it self, 28'c is perfect for a dolloi.
I keep mine at 25'C
When I transfered mine to a bigger tank it did not eat for about a month.
It can go without food for a long time.

When I give the tank my dolloi is in a good cleaning it stops eating for a day.
They just don't like changes just give it some time and it wil prob. start eating again.

How bad is the damage?

thx bro for ur advise ...

the damage is not that bad. juz occasional scratches & limbs are shorter ...

the limbs have started to grow, however, the right "hand" seemed to be growing out crooked... will it straighten as it grows? or do i need to trim it and let it grow again ... ??

this hapens often with lungfish...my dolloi has 2 tail tips...(bought it like that)
They don't always grow back the way they used to be.
I have also seen lungfish with forked limbs

I don't think it will straighten out.
But I do think it would be hell for your lungfish if you would trim it.
They seem real sensitive.

Can you try and post a pic?
