Help! My EBJD got into a marital dispute.... and lost

I woke up this morning to find him like this:



I haven't actually seen them show aggression towards each other, but they have been mating, and she's getting ready to lay eggs. I'm assuming it's a good idea to stick a divider between these two for now. Is there anything I can do to help him heal faster? His face is in pretty rough shape. it looks like part of his lip was bitten off.

Just do big water changes and add salt. Hopefully it wont get worse.

The divider is in, need to go buy some salt though. the wounds are starting to get "fuzzy"

he's starting to look better. the fuzzyness on his face is mostly gone, and he's eating. Do you think the missing part of his lip will grow back?
