HELP...my electric eel not eating

hi all...need u guys assist...I reared this eel for more than 2 months.
It was healthy and eating well...
but starting from December 15...it's been 2 weeks plus my eel refuse to take any food ...
it's body is getting skinny now...please help...what should i do

Does is mean that Electric Eel is actually part of the Knifefish family?

yes it is. They swim just like a knife fish if you have'nt noticed. He might have recently got an illness
