i have a 55 setup with 6 flowerhorn and two parrots i will thin out my collection to only one flowerhorn but i have two filter running a canister rated 525 gph and a hob filter rated 350 is tat to much

nope, probably just right. Do you have ammonia or nitrites present? Are your fish being blown all over? If both of these are no then you are probably just right on filtration. I tend to stay around a turnover rate of 8-10x an hour. Like my 55 gallon has 2 AC 70's. They turn over 300gph.

the 525 gph canister is not in yet just wanted it to be sure it was safe for my fish the water is cloudy it is bare bottom

Your fine at right now with six horns. You could toss on some sponge filters if you want more but don't exactly need more flow. It's always good to have more filtration.
