Please help! My flowerhorn has white spots on his face and body and is looking sick. He looked sick about a week ago but started getting the white spots and a bump on his face 3 days ago. What disease is this? Hole in the head? How do I treat this!!! Please help I love this flowerhorn. Had him for 1.5 years from little and now is 9+ inches. Thanks for everyones help in advance.

lloks like ick, better treat him fast, then if he shows signs of stress do a partial water change
Not good. You're going to want to do a 30-50% water change and add some aquarium salt (dose as recommended) . You also may want to try metro or prazipro to try and treat your fish for parasites and other harmful things. Keep the temperature between 78-84* and be sure to provide adequate aeration with the warmer temperatures.
ouch.. thats probably 2 weeks of ick... better start doing massive water change.. warm temperature and lots of medication..

look like you have hole in the head and ick as well. If you can buy Clout med from your place then use it. Work great with flower horn.
i am doing 1/3 water change every other day and using prazipro and the jungle products fungus clear and ick clear. my midas and jag are sick too but dont have any spots. i hope they all get better especially my flowerhorn! i'm heating up to 86 degrees too and added salt today. thanks for the replies.
