First, many thanks to my friend babychris who hooked up the beautiful FH fry October of last year. I did like he said and put 15 fry into a 55 gallon hoping they would kill each other and I would end up with a pair or trio.
Well....Exactly 3 months later I have a pair and they already laid eggs in the community tank.
Kinda figured it was coming as they were lip locked 2 days ago, they took over half the tank and last night they were shimmying and shaking.
Anyways time to figure out what to do with the other 8 FH.
Also, I am running a Fluval 405 in the tank without a filter cover is this going to be a problem if later on they spawn again with fry? Would it be smart to buy a different filter? If so what should I get?
