ok well im in a rush for my friends help....well he has a growing pacu in his 55 gallon to grow up until about 6-8" then he going to put it in its 180 gallon with some cichlids but the thing he has a problem is that when he did a water change today this morning...he changed about 80% of the water out then like about 3-4 hours later from what he said is that the pacu kinda stop moving much and started floating about and sometimes swims abit then stops again and heads for the bottom and sometimes floats on the surface...he didn't know what to do...so what i did was put the pacu's mouth on the air stone...well not anymore but we took the air tube and put it in its mouth and see if we could help it breathe but from what im seeing he is shocked but the temperature is back to normal and the water parameters is being check right now from him...should we have done this or not? what else could we do to help my friend's pacu live?

my pacu did this from a long trip from a pet shop 4 hours!!! treat him with some anti stress and slim coat treat me if hes in shoke i did that with mine 
good look with him
good look with him and good fillter strong courent in the water lots of oxygen n he should come round but u need some anti-stress stuff i have it is great
