Help my girl bought me a polypterus

Hey, my girl bought my one as a gift, i put it in my tank with my O's and Ck's, it seems fine but it doesn't seem to be eating.
It had a go at eating one of the sinking pellets but i dont think it actually ate it, its been a few days now and i'm getting worried. I feed my O's and CK's floating and sinking pellets and blood worms. Will it be ok with that or is there anything special i should be feeding???
 
Yes they should all eat shrimp but we need to know what kind it is. For example, if it's a senegal which are common, it should be eating right in front of you. Or perhaps if it's an Ornate it will eat when the lights go off. So do you know what kind it is?
 
how big are its tankmates
 
some of mine go days without eating, while others have stomachs like bottomless pits and will eat anything resembling food anytime its put in front of them.

i wouldnt be too worried yet
 
I haven't seen my ornate eat in 4 months, but he grows quickly and has an enormous stomach. If you saw it look at a pellet, it probably eats when the lights are out.
 
O´s are agresive maybe some one could be picking on him, but see for a few days maybe he is just trying to adjust to his new home
