HELP!!! My GT is acting very strange.

A few days ago my GT went berserk and started swimming back and forth very fast and thrashing anything in its way. Not intentionally but like he just lost his mind. I had the lids open, trying to cool off the water a lil and he almost jumped out. Now hes very skittish and freaks out when I walk over to the tank. He lets the sub dominate fish pick on him and just today just just sits there. Sometimes letting him self lean over as if he was dying. Any ideas? Gonna do a water change tonite and see what happens. Any input will help. Thanx

Tough call I would do a wc asap and what is the temp? why did you think it needed cooling off?

Ditto on the water Parameters and other specs, untill then our guess is just as good as yours.

i had the same problem but my water perms. was all 0 ..he started thrashing like urs did..week later he was upside down..now only my female is left *shrugs* that was after did salt treatment, 87 degree temp, melafix and prazipro..
