Help! my jar's lower jaw!!!

My jar's lower jaw skin got ripped.. i dont know why, maybe when i fed him shrimp (peeled) with pellets inside, he got hurt or scratch when he opened his mouth, I REALLY DONT KNOW, i dont think the pleco attacked him since the pleco is always full..

what to do? shall i treat it now with MELAFIX?

it's realli hard to tell from the video...youtube format isn't so great when u wanna see some details. but if as u described, only the skin got ripped, then u shouldn't worry about it, it'll recover in no time. it was probably cuzed by jar chasing after a fish and crashed his jaw on a rock or some decor in ur tank. but a better quality pic might tell a different story

i wouldnt worry about

keep up your water quality like your suppose to and it will be fine

THANKS FOR THE COMMENT BRO...!! i recalled that a shrimp fell to the bare bottom of his tank, and he scraped it off with his mouth, i think thats where he got hurt..his skin on his lower jaw on his right side got peeled off like as humans got scratch, so il just leave it alone? wouldnt it get infected? i do water change once a week, max of 40%..
