ok, so i have this pair of jewels that had a sucessful spawn before... but, bout a month afterwards, the male tried killing the female... they have resided in a divided 20 gallon (i know... to small...) With male on one side female on the other... No other fish... so, last week i decided to do a massive water change and spiff it up a bit and it is bare bottom now... and, today when I walk in my room I see EGGS ON THE DIVIDER ON THE FEMALES SIDE!!! THE MALE IS ON THE OTHER SIDE WITH HIS TUBE DOWN TRYING TO FERTILIZE THEM THROUGH THE DIVIDER!!! Will he be able to properly fertilize through the divider? (it is one of those store bought dividers from petsmart...) Or will I have to risk putting the male on the females side??? If I DO end up putting him on her side... How long should I keep him there??? I NEED LOTS OF HELP ASAP!!!

anybody?

Move the divider so its like this l__/l instead of l_l_l. Get the point?
so that the divder is tilted to the right on a slant? why is that? i do not really want to move the divider as the eggs are on it... whatis the reason for tilting it? so the males stuff can flow through easier???

Tilt so that way the male would be able to fertilize most of the eggs. Just observe them so no fighting happens. Just move slowly so they wont fall.
