The Leopard Gecko Care

I need your help for my Leopard Gecko. I noticed some unshed skin caught at both of his back toes, how long should I soak him in the warm water before trying to peel them off?

Another question is, he isn't eating at all. I thought it's because of it being his new home so it would take some time. His personality is fine, active, tame, likes to explore and stuff but not eating. He hunted some crickets, but missed. Last night I saw him eat one finally, what a relief...but after awhile he puked it.

May I know why he would do that? I am worried if he is sick. But after I went to bed I am not sure if he ate the other crickets ( I give him small ones for now ). I saw his dropping in the morning though, at a different corner than the corner he previously chose...why would he change? Maybe because I have placed tissue paper at his previous spot?

Anyway, I checked his dropping for any worms that were visible enough for me to see but nothing except for some tiny hair ( human hair ) that must have fallen in the terrarium...either he accidentally ate it or it was sticked to the cricket. I hope to hear soon, thank you for your time!:)

I think 10 minutes in warm water should be fine? I guess I never had to do it so I really can be reliable. Someone might be able to shed input. As for the unshed skin you might want to up the humidity level in the tank/cage.

Like mentioned above, let your LG soak in some very shallow, warm water for about 10 minutes and then take him out and remove the dead skin with a pair of tweesers.
I wouldn't really worry about your guy not eating just yet. You haven't had him very long so he might still be getting used to his surroundings. LG's can go a while without eating because of all the stored fat in their tails. Is he still drinking? Hydration is important. I would throw a couple of crickets in his tank before you turn the lights out. Maybe he is still shy and will not feed when the lights are on. You could also put a dish of Wax or Meal worms in there for him to feed on too. Keep us posted on your LG's progress.

I would just be careful of the crickets left in cage nipping at the leo.

This is true so proceed with caution. That's why I mentioned using the wax/meal worms just incase you didn't want to go that route.
