Help....my lights do not work

I have a Jebo canopy with t-8 bulbs. My lights were working great until it went out a few days ago. I've tried replacing the t-8 bulbs but it still won't light up. I have unplugged my light timer and plugged it without the timer. I cannot believe it's now working. What is the odd of a digital timer going bad? WTF....the timer is only one year old.

Might be the ballast. Did you connect the lights straight to the wall?

It was the timer. I've never seen a timer go bad until now. I guess they are not indestructible after all.
