help my lungfish please

my west african lungfish has a bad case of fin rot, this morning i fed him and his tank mates and i didn't even see a rot. i slept and when i woke up to see him there was almost nothing left of his tail... i am so shocked!! how do i treat this? please help me.

i myself was surprised...but i have other suspicions too.... could be tankmates? banded leporinus perhaps?

my bet is that this is some sort of disease, but i can't be too sure coz i'm no expert when it comes to fish diseases... please help me and my lungfish....

it's a reflection from the bare bottom tank. it's a silver dollar.
