To start off, I have a Blueberry Oscar, or an Albino Oscar that has been injected with blue die. I realize this is cruel and it wasn't until after I purchased him that I learned about the treatment. Anyway, I have had him for about a year and a half, and he's only like 4 inches long. I also have a Tiger Oscar that I bought at the same time, who is about 8 inches long. The Albino is very aggressive but cannot hold his own against the other Oscar and Dempsey and always pesters them. They end up winning the battles in the long run. The Albino's left fin is almost completely gone and it affects his swimming. I gave him to a friend to see if he could get him back to good health, and his scales are back and seems healthy, but that fin is still not grown back. My question is, Is there any type of medicine or treatment I can do that will make his fin grow back and is there no hope of him growing anymore?

How big is the tank?
He sounds stunted. But also dyed/tattoed fish usually are unhealthy and dont grow as large or live as long.
What you can do is try some melafix/pimafix or stress coat. Keep water clean etc, in time it should heal.

I am on my fourth day of melafix. Am I supposed to use both at the same time?
I figured he was just stunted because I researched it and supposedly won't live more than a year and a half and they don't grow more than 5 inches
