My fish in a 55 gallon tank just had several hundred babies and I need to transfer the babies (Because I have other fish in this tank) to a 10 gallon tank. How do I get them out of the tank? Then seem to be hanging underneath one of the parents and then dive into the gravel. How do I get them out? I separated the other fish in the tank via a couple pieces of Plexiglas but need to get the babies out before they are eaten.

Use a turkey baster or a syphon tube to "suck" some out but leave a good number in with the parents. There will be no harm done to the fry by removing them this way.
