my plants are growing black algae... all the old leaves on my anubias are black... i tried dipping them into a diluted bleach solution and then scrubbing the leaves. it works but it grows black after a few weeks. what can be the cause of this?? any tips and advice is greatly appreciated. thanks!

i find that BBA is caused by an imbalance in the tank.
What size tank do you have, what kind of lights and substrate? What kind of dosing and water changes do you do, and do you add co2? Also of note would be what plant species you maintain.

Knowing this will help find a better answer to the problem.

I found in the past when my annubias did that it was because i wasn't dosing my tank with any ferts / Co2 supplements... after i started dosing my tanks with every water change, my annubias started looking really healthy again...

In the past I had this problem on my Anubias due to too much light....
