Here are some pics I took today. He has been not doing well for about month plus. I will start at the begining, I noticed him one day jeting and twicthing out non stop and noticed he stopped eating so I moving him into a quarintine tank. His signs appered to be the same as the xingu xp ray that I had the troubles with a while back and that is now doing great. So I treated him the same with marcyn plus. The twitching had stopped but he still would not eat at all. I waited a few day before trying something else thinking this could have been internal parisites I tryed treaing with prazipro but I would find the poor guy flipped on his back hanging out so I figured this cant be good so changed out the water. I have now tried mixing garlic juice with some metroplex and using a pipette and shooting into his mouth. That seemed to have done something cause he did start pooping agian and he has started eating blackworms a bit. Looking at him, his outer apperance doesn't look to be getting better and he deffinatly is still not behaving like a heathy ray. here are some pics. PLEASE if you have any suggestions that might help please share. Oh and the last pic is about 2-3 months old when he was doing great.

If it were in my hands I would add some air stones and continue to shoot black worms into his gill with a turkey baster. That rays condition does not look good at all, wish ya luck.

As dodgers said add a few air stones... temp 82-84f and cover the tank and keep it very dark...that with the pipette is all you can really do at tthis time..

So sorry man, I hope somebody can help. I would listen to Nic he's helped me alot. Dude know's his **** with Ray's. Please keep us updated. And Good Luck man!!

Best of luck....

Wow that doesn't look good. Was he ever with your xingu sp? I'm thinking it is the same thing that infected our xingus. I still have no solution to my problem yet but I know I was able to get them to eat by keeping the tank covered (a must for sure), salt and nitrofurazone. It is only a patch but at least they are eating and alive. Hopefully I can figure my problem out shortly and give you some better advice.
