I am doing water changes every day and using prime. So far I have lost 2 blue dolphin cichlid and now my peacock and my Frontosa. My amonia is @.25 nitrites 0 nitrates 5 temp 80. I have added salt. What is happening?

As I mentioned to you in a previous thread regarding your high ammonia - take out the carbon and ammonia remover & just use biomax, filter floss & some sponge.
You set up a brand new, uncycled tank & filter, added in fish and your use of carbon & ammonia remover is working against you.

You will have no choice but to do a fish-in cycle. After changing your filter media as mentioned, continue monitoring your water parameters, do regular water changers, and keep up with the prime.

The cost of prime will go down once your tank is cycled as you will only be doing water changes every 3 or so days (typically - this will depend on whether you have over-stocked your tank, or if you are feeding too much).

Best of luck

Thanks. I have done all of your suggestions. I am getting so frustrated. The frontosa showed no symptoms. I am using prime with every wc. Are Frontossa sensitive fish. All I have experience with are Oscars. I hope this ends soon. I really don't want to lose my ebjd. My mom has an established tank. Should I grab some gravel from hers and add it?

You should take some of her seeded bacteria and add it to your filter and your tank will be cycled in a few days. What kind of filter does she have?

Cheap one with inserts. Can i just take half of one of the inserts and put it in the back of the filter? I have an aqua clear 30 and a penguin 350.

Without a seeded filter, or substrate, 1 month is not long enough for a full cycle.
A normal cycle for large sensitive fish, especially fish endemic to pristine conditions like Lake Tanganyika would take at least 2 months. Cycling is a living, breathing, situation where large populations of bacteria must become established to be effective.
