After i got home today i noticed that my adult male venustus cichlid was lying on the floor and i have to tap on glass a little for it to turn around, almost like he is sleeping but once he is turned he is lively and swimming around. when i get near the tank it comes close to the glass like normal getting ready for food but is twitching. Also his fins are kinda clamped, but not a lot. the ammonia is zero, the nitrate is zero, but the ph is really low, like 6.5ish. he is eating, just checked. All the other fish seem to be fine except for the other jewel cichlids (4), they just mope around with no color. I dont know what is wrong with him. please help!
thanks

Have you done anything to alter the ph? 6.5 os really low, are you on well water? I would go get a bag of crushed coral asap & put it in a net bag in a high flow area of your tank

tank has been running for 2 years, i feed my fire eel frozen blood worms and sometimes the other fish get a cube or two. the ph has been like this for a while a few months i try to get it to go higher with water changes but no chemicals. no not like the livingstonii but it is on its bottom like when they are sleeping.

Maybe he is twitching because of a female.. i hope... anyway..
