She looks like a twig! I can see her rib cage! I believe the eggs have already hatched. Her mouth is bigger and bigger every day. Its lkke she wont spit and the fry keep growing. I have cuckoo catfish In the tank. Should I move her to my 10 gallon? Its empty atm.I must warn beforehand its having an algea / fungus problem and 24hrs ago I put some api fungus cure in their. I also dosed the main tank just to eradicate it. I used half dosage.

Should I move her to the 10gal? I feel like if I wait just 1 more day she could die. PS she IS holding. No diseases or stressful situations involved. I font think I want to strip.

Well she sounds ok… how skinny exactly? Most mouth brooders will get a little hollow bellied when holding fry.
In saying that she may have been malnourished before she started brooding and is becoming emaciated, in that case I would strip her and feed her well...
also make shore she isn’t getting bullied when she is not brooding, that can also lead to emaciation during the brooding period.
